My Meditation

Hi Everyone!

Today I want to share the mini guided meditation that I created by myself for myself and for you! The idea for this meditation I got from my favorite book "The Untethered Soul" by Michael Singer and from meditation guided by Thich Nhat Hanh.

Let's be honest, we all have unpleasant thoughts sometimes. And the real reason of our suffering is our own mind, which creates these thoughts without our permission. Nobody wants to upset himself, but we are doing that without even noticing.

I want to share my biggest mistake which slowed down the process of liberation for me. And I am still have my moments, and am not fully free, but when I realized this mistake, I got much closer to the state where almost nothing disturbs me.

So my biggest problem was that I used to think that my main goal should be the ability to control all of my thoughts and to get rid of the negative ones. But the reality is that sometimes it is too hard to avoid the thoughts that we have. And if I am fighting these thoughts I get so exhausted that I cannot be happy anymore. That is why I decided instead of putting so much efforts on fighting my thoughts just accept them, laugh at them, find them interesting and entertaining. And this became the idea for my guided meditation. Instead of waisting my energy I just watch the movie created by my mind which just works as a computer. It collects the information from outside and inside, stores it within me and generates these stories. I look at my thoughts as at some facts (or not even facts) collected from external sources absolutely randomly and processed by my brain based on my perceptions, emotions and sensations. They are not something I need to take seriously. I just like watching them and have fun!

I hope you will enjoy my meditation!

Remember, if you want to see the result, you need to meditate daily. If my guided meditation didn't work for you, try to search for another options on YouTube or Google. I also recommend to try Insight Timer (insighttimer.com). It took me about 3 years before I saw the result of my efforts, but trust me it was totally worth it! Do it for yourself!
