My Favorite Habits!

Hi Everyone! I hope you are doing well! Thank you for reading my blog!

I made a video for you and posed it to my YouTube Channel - My Favorite Habits.

As you can see from the name of the article, today I am going to talk about habits. And I want to focus on the ones that I personally like. They bring me joy and help me to stay positive!

Here is my list:

1. Save money. I send some percent of my salary to my saving account every month. I don't make a lot of money, but it helps me to create the discipline and gives the sense of security.

2. Drink water and eat healthy. I love to drink hot water! I have a mug in the office and I go back and force from my desk to our kitchen. And I drink warm water first thing when I wake up. I also like to cook very simple food, like salmon with veggies, chicken with rice. usually I don't add dressings or souses because a lot of them contain sugar or some weird chemicals. I do like to go to restaurants, but also with some healthy-style food. I can eat something unhealthy once in a while, but the majority of my food is good for my body.

3. Sleep. This is another thing which is important for health. And it is also quite important for my beauty. I know that if I had not enough sleep I don't look good. So I am trying to go to bed early.

4. Workout. I love bodyweight exercises! They are not too hard, but at the same time help me to stay in a good shape. There are tons of them on YouTube, I love Gymra YouTube Channel! I work out at least three times a week. And when I don't work out, I walk for about 30 minutes or more. Walking is really good habit for your heart!

5. Planning. This is an awesome habit which I still working on. Write down "To do" list the night before. This way when you wake up you don't have to waste your time on thinking what to do, you become more productive and as a result more satisfied with yourself!

6. Study. I know for sure that if you don't learn something new, you are not staying at the same place, you actually moving back. To be honest, I even have a little fear of not learning. I think that if I stop reading and taking classes I can become silly, ha-ha. I know it is not true, but this fear helps me to put efforts. Study also includes opportunities that I can have at work, not just my personal interests. I do like to take some challenging projects and to find some new areas I can be better at! This is very rewarding!

7. Gratitude. Being grateful is not always easy. Sometimes we don't notice great things that we have, especially when we cannot get something that we really want. But if you do gratitude exercise you can train your brain to be more grateful. It works, I swear! I wasn't too thankful in the past and by doing gratitude exercises I changed my neuro-connections. All you need to do, is to think of three things you are grateful for in the end of the day. It would be more helpful if you remind yourself about something that happened in this particular day. If you just say every night "I am thankful for my health" it will be awesome, but it won't help you to learn how to notice every single gift that life handles to you every day!

8. Pray. Each night before I go to sleep I pray. My prayer doesn't belong to any religion. I just like to thank God for everything He is doing for me and I tell him that I handle all my problems to him. There are a lot of things I cannot control, but when I pray, I remind myself that God will always take care of me and I have no reason to worry about! It helps me to go to bed with clear mind and have a nice sleep.

Remember, habits are extremely important! It is very easy to get bad habits, but hard to live with them. And it is hard to develop good habits, but easy to live with them. If you want to have a happy life, focus on your habits!
