How To Stay Positive When You Are Single.

Hi Everyone! Thank you for reading my article! Today I am going to write about myself! I want to share some ideas on how I stay positive while I am single.

Here is the link to the video for my today's post - How To Stay Positive When You are Single.

To be honest, I hate being single. It is not my choice, it is just the way things are. I dream about a boyfriend every day. Thoughts about relationships never leave my mind. This is my nature and I don't think I can change it. But at the same time I cannot go out there and look for a man. I am very old-fashioned. I don't like all these dating apps, I don't like going to the bars. I spend a lot of time at home or just walking by the lake or in the park. I believe that my future man should find me. He should put efforts to conquer me like in a fairy tale, because I am a true princess :-)

At the same time I think I should work on myself, I should learn how to become wiser, kinder, more understanding, how to be independent and emotionally intelligent. I should take care of my health, my body. So when my man finds me, he will be shocked by how perfect I am, ha-ha!

In order not to be bored I decided to start a new sewing project. I want to make a collection of garments for my future dates with my boyfriend. They say that if you want something, pretend that it already happened. So this is my way of pretending that I met my significant other. As I said, I cannot look for a man, but I can sew, I can work on my style. So I am going to focus on something that I am good at and that I can control. And even if my prince will never find me, at least I will end up having some nice clothes and better sewing skills! There is no way I can lose in such situation :-)

Last week I was off for two days and I was reviewing my sewing patterns. I want to create a specific look and make garments in the same style, the style which represents me, how I see myself, who I am inside.

Here is the picture of me which is showing the style that I like the most:

From all the patterns that I have, this Vogue Pattern is probably the closest to the way I want to look - Vogue V9082.

I think it is very elegant.

But I want to start with pattern McCall's M7531. It is simple and I already have a nice Rayon Ponte De Roma fabric for this project.

I will try to find good quality fabric for my garments and focus on this part rather than working on very complicated patterns.

We'll see how it goes. Maybe in a few months I will be posting a pictures and videos of me and my boyfriend :-)

In the end I want to say that when you are busy it is much easier to stay positive. A lot of bad thoughts come to us just because of our laziness. They take energy from us and we become even more lazy. It's a vicious cycle. It is hard to be happy sometimes, but it would be even harder if you don't put efforts to make yourself happy. Life is much easier when you are disciplined, when you use your potential and when you believe in yourself!
