How To Overcome Difficulties

Hello my dear readers! I hope you are doing well!

I had super productive week and I am very proud of myself. There is nothing better than to work on yourself and achieve your goals! Laziness brings boredom and unhappiness. So if you want to have a fun life, you need to work, ha-ha.

Today I want to share just two things which help me the most in the moment of difficulties or depression. Sometimes I get caught by bad thoughts, I think that my life is horrible and that I will never be happy. And if I didn't know these two things, I would be super depressed, because unfortunately for the past few years I cannot get what I want, and who knows, maybe I will never be able to. But I believe that I still can be happy! I just need to remember about my two simple things which are so helpful!

So what are they?

1. Responsibility. If you want to have a great life, you need to take responsibility for your actions, your happiness, your problems, and everything else. Whatever happens to us is the result of our choices and decisions one way or another. Of course there are a lot of things in life that we cannot control. But we decide how to react to all these events. All of my problems were the results of wrong actions. I admit it, and I take responsibility. And this responsibility helps me to grow and become stronger every day! Yes, I cannot get what I want, but it doesn't stop me from doing things that I can control. This is an amazing feeling when you know that nothing can break you!. But you can only develop it if you take responsibility. Don't complain, don't blame - is my favorite rule! Yes, sometimes I want to be whiny and share my pain and let other people to comfort me. But I know that if I stay strong, move on and keep working on myself, in long run I win. It just feels so awesome when you overcame the difficulties by yourself.

But responsibility alone can be very exhausting and that is why I have something else to support me in difficult times:

2. Trust. It might be very scary to live your life without trust. I would go crazy if I didn't trust life and myself. Gratitude can help you to cultivate trust in life and will-power helps to increase trust in yourself. When you do gratitude exercises and remember things you are grateful for, it shows you that your life is not that bad. Yes, sometimes there will be something that you don't like, or you will not be able to get something that you like. But you also will always have some wonderful unexpected gifts. Don't take them for granted, focus on them instead. And also work on your goals. If you promised yourself to work out - then work out, it is better to do stretches for 5 minutes, than fail your own expectations.If you were going to read a book before sleep - read a book. Maybe just couple of sentences, but read. Little by little you will get to the point when you will know that no matter what happens in your life, you will still stay energies and productive.

Yes, sometimes bad stuff happens, but we become really unhappy not because of the event itself, but the way we perceive things. They either break you, or make you stronger. And it's your choice.

I don't want to have some difficulties that I am having. I would prefer to be very rich, famous, popular, have loving husband. But the fact that I don't have these things shouldn't make me miserable. I enjoy the idea that no matter what I am still great! So are you! We all are perfect and we all have everything we need to be happy. And in the most difficult times we get super strong all of a sudden and we overcome all problems. You just need to remember about responsibility and trust! And you always will be fine!
