Little By Little.
Hello my dear readers! I had a wonderful week, I hope you did too! I don't know why, but I have been very happy lately. Maybe because I was busy...
Here is the video for today's article: Little By Little.
I decided to install wallpapers in my living room. I am still in the process, but little by little I am making a progress. I was not sure if I could do this by myself, usually it takes two people to place the wallpapers. Well, I decided to give it a try! On Tuesday I took a day off and started to put the wallpaper on my wall. It turned out to be pretty easy, just time consuming. I definitely can do it by myself :-)
I am planning to finish my walls today or tomorrow the latest and then I will put special stickers to my bathroom's floor. If you want to know more about removable wallpaper and floor tile, let me know and I will make an article about my mini apartment upgrade.
Why do I tell this wallpaper story? My blog is about self-love and self-development, not about home decor. I wanted to share this story because it's a great example of how little by little we can achieve the results. Some things might be challenging, but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't try. And at the same time, you don't have to exhaust yourself. You can make baby steps towards your goal.
When I was a little girl I used to spend a lot of time with my grandma, my dad's mom. She was always busy with something. And she liked to say "He who walks, will master the road". If you take your baby steps every day, you make a progress. It doesn't have to be huge, but if you work on your goals, you move forward and become stronger! Little by little you can achieve a great success.
We love miracles! A lot of times we dream about something big, that all of a sudden some magic tool will solve all of our problems. And I do believe in miracles, but I don't think that big miracles happen every day. But little ones do :-) We just don't notice them because we are waiting for something dramatic. But our life is built with these tiny everyday miracles, and they make it so beautiful! And you are the person who can work these miracles!
Don't be afraid to set up difficult goals, but at the same time, don't hurry with achieving them. Be patient, don't exhaust yourself, find this perfect balance for the highest productivity and little by little you will be able to do anything!
I want to finish with the following quote by Confucius:
"The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones".
Today is your day! Take a small stone and move it away, and little by little you will move your mountain!
