Two Types Of Pleasure. How To Be A Winner In Any Situation.
Hi my dear readers! I am so happy that the weather is getting better and better. Yesterday it was raining the whole day, but I still could feel the spring vibes! :-)
I have been very joyful lately. On April 4th I went to the lake and realized that every moment of life is beautiful! And since that day I felt really good. But sometimes I forget about this idea and can get upset and even can suffer. So today I want to share the way you can always be happy, even if things go not the way you planned. It will be a reminder for myself, and I hope some useful information for others!

From my point of view, there are two types of pleasure. We experience pleasure when we feel good, so fist type is very simple and we all know about it. This is pleasure that we get when we satisfy our desires. Usually we experience pain and discomfort, when we need something. And this discomfort helps us to stay motivated, it gives us energy to act, to pursue things that we want. You can even feel some time of agitation. And all you want to do in such moments is to get rid of this pain, discomfort and stress. You identify the object which can help you to feel better, you get this object, and you feel satisfied, you feel pleasure. And we all have our own objects of satisfaction. Some people find it in food, some people feel better when they spend time with partner they love, some people love to collect something, and some people just get addicted to cocaine. We all are different, but yet the same. We want to avoid pain and feel pleasure. And this system of chasing pleasures works really well. As I said, it helps us to stay motivated and achieve our goals. But what if you cannot get what you want?...
Example. I like a man. I crave for him, think about him a lot. I want to be with him. I know that when we have been together, I felt really good and had a lot of pleasure. But this man doesn't want to be with me. And it doesn't matter what I want. I will never be able to get him, will never be able to satisfy my desire. And if this is my strongest desire, I would experience pain all the time. It will come and go of course, nothing lasts forever. But I will get this feeling of discomfort. And it will keep coming back. This is the nature of cravings. Once we liked something a lot, we would want it again, and if we cannot get it, we feel pain.
But, in this case, you can use pleasure type number two! And this is the pleasure that you get from the pain itself. So you don't wait till your needs are satisfied. You just use your pain for your growth, for your self-development. You look at it with curiosity and wonder what can you learn from painful experience. It is the gift that life gives to you, so you can become a better version of yourself. It feels like pain is something wrong, but it is only because of the mindset. But you can change your mindset, you can look at discomfort as at something that brings you benefit. And then you will experience pleasure from pain just because you would know that it is created for your own good. And you won't be afraid of pain anymore, and the lack of fear will bring even more pleasure. And the more often you use your pain for pleasure generation, the less scared you are! It is so nice to be free from chasing pleasures and just enjoy any moment of your life!
You don't have to look for pain, it will come to you sooner or later. But when it comes, smile at her and think of how interesting life is, and how much wisdom is in there. And think of what can you learn from your experience. Then you always will be a winner. You will feel pleasure when you get what you want, and you will get pleasure, when you can't. Very simple approach that you can use everyday!
